The Customer Service/Reception Area of the Administration Building received a major facelift this fall – all to create a more welcoming environment for lot owners, visitors, and our employees. The entrance way was tiled, painted, and new light fixtures installed; the counter was moved back to make more room for visitors and upgraded with a quartz top; the plexiglass shield was taken down to allow more direct interactions with Kensico Customer Service Representatives; new workstations were put in place; landscaping was installed to improve the background view through the windows; and a dropped ceiling was removed, revealing the original railroad station tray ceiling. This renovation required evening and weekend construction in order to complete the work without interrupting seven-day-a-week cemetery operations, the packing and moving of office equipment and supplies multiple times, and a constant stream of painters, contractors, electricians, and movers. We welcome you to stop by to check it out, and we hope you like the look!
